Can Not Install or Use Any Apps

I just purchased and setup the Printer (HP Photosmart 7520) .  As far as I can tell I setup the printer correctly with ePrint and enabled the Web Services.  I was able to email a document to the given unique printer email address and it printed it out.

 

However I have been unable to install new or even use any of the Apps ( even Apps already installed).  When I use the printer touch screen interface and push on any App button it brings up a spinning circle and says "Apps Updating. Please wait"  Then quickly goes to "Cancelling" and right back to home screen.

 

I am at a lost at what is going on!  Please help?
