I have a HP DesignJet 455CA. I went to the HP driver download center and that driver is listed there. So I entered the Serial Number of the printer and got a error response saying device could not be identified by Serial Number alone and it asked for the Product Number. I could not find anything listed as product number but did enter model number, FICC ID number and any other number I could find on the machine to no avail. Does anyone know where a driver for this printer can be downloaded without a bunch of junk coming along? Does anyon know how to locate the product number on a HP 455CA?
Manufacturers should stand behind their products for a longer period and not try to screw everyone into buying new products before customer wants. Are there companies that stand behind their products with regard to making drivers available?
I would greatly appreciate any suggestions. I am running XP 32 bit.
