So. I've already bought this same printer and had this exact same issue (it was guaranteed, so I brought it back and got a new one). Last time, if I can remember correctly, I was told this was a manufacturing defect on the hardrive, which didn't make sense, but rather than break my head against a wall, I got another one.
When I click "Enable" under "Scan to Computer", it loads to 4%, the window just closes as if nothing happened.
I also sent an email with a document to the printer and nothing happened although my profile says "PRINTED".
The photocopier works.
Both my laptop and the printer itself are connected to the network (which has no problems of its own) and the printer is connected to "Wireless Direct" although I have no idea what that is.
This is extremely frustrating. The fact that they sell their machines with these problems attached seems appalling to me.
