I have spent hours trying to find a method of Wirelessly coinnecting my Apple Ipad to my networked HP 6500 printer.
I have found and downloaded the HP eprint App onto my Ipad. This allows me to select the HP printer as they are both wirelessly connected to the Router. However, when I select Print in any App, the Eprint dialogue box informs me that no printers are available for selection.
I have tried to contact HP Support, to find out if there is a solution to this problem, but I am informed that they are neither contactable by email, chat, or phone as it is all offline.
Does anybody have a solution to this problem, which HP have been unable to fix since 2011 according to all the websites I have visited. Apparently the HP 6500A can eprint, but the 6500 E709n cannot, Why? is the obvious question. I have also attempted to download PrintShare Mobile Print app from Amazon, but cannot find a way of allowing Amazon Apps onto my Apple Ipad as the solution suggested 'Enable Unknown Source' is not available in my setting facility.
Any Geeks who have found an answer to this long running problem would be very welcome to share their knowlege with all us Untermench.
