I have a HUGE problem scanning with this machine. Number 1, it makes horrible scans. They are fuzzy, and not all all clear sometimes.
Number 2 and even more important is that the scanner saves them in HUGE files. I have to set it on BW no larger than 300dpi and single page text files are still like 1.5 megs. If I do color or greyscale even at 200dpi it saves them at 10 - 20 megs.
I have tried EVERYTHING to adjust the settings, reloaded the software and am stumped. Has anyone else had this problem or konw how to fix it???
