I have been having problems getting my printer to connect to the server for some time. I reviewed all of the posted resolutions, tried each of them with absolutely no positive results. Interestingly enough, my printer, (HP Officejet 8600 plus pro n911g), could check its firmware and show me that it was up to date even though it could not connect to the server for eprint apps. In desperation, I bit the bullet and REMOVED eprint services from the printer. I then used my laptop to reinstall eprint, and then I had to figure out how to get the appropriate code to get it to work. Fortunately, from my laptop, I was able to print the appropriate setup document that gave me the code, and then I was able to get the printer to reconnect to the server. I am only posting this for the reason that someone else that is having this problem may be able to use this solution. I was extremely frustrated with this problem especially with all of the time I spent researching the problem and resolutions. I really hope this solution helps someone else who may be having the same problem.
