how much data does the printer use polling for emails

I have an hp officejet 6100  I use it to send orders to a delivery driver so he can get them n the fly..  We connect the printer to the internet through a mobile hotspot.  I have an 8GB plan and the hotspot has been using almost 6GB per month.  the emails sent to the printer are only 200KB.  At that rate I'd have to send 30,000 emails to the printer to use that much data.  How much data does the printer use polling the server?  I can't see it using that much data.
