I just purchased from Best Buy in Portsmouth NH the HP Photosmart 7520. After installing and uninstalling over and over I could not get the Apps to work at all. Even the website that it directs you to as your installing - to get more apps to put on the computer does nothing - can't even open some of the links. Anyhow, called HP Tech Help and the first guy said that HP does not support the apps on the top part of the screen on the printer.. the ones you push and all you get is updating - please wait and then back to the home screen. He told me he could only help me with the bottom line on the screen. The next day, I start all over with a deep breath! Still nothing. I decide, ok, lets call the HP Tech help again.. this time, at least the tech is honest and says yes there is a problem and it is still being worked on. My question to him is why is HP allowing the sale of this printer when it has things that they KNOW do not work. Shame on you HP. So now I look at this forum and this problem goes way way back. It is not a new issue. Some people on this site were told its a fix and should be available in March. Is this true? Oh, the other things that don't work are, 4x6 hp photopaper - it will not pull in the printer to print on. The only way that I can print is to print from my Mac - the icons on the printer screen do not know what to do. So fustrating. I guess this week I will pack it all back up and return and see what is out there. I will let best buy know that they are selling a product that HP acknowledges does not work...
