photosmart 7525, apps not showing up on printer screen

I am connected to the internet via wireless, and printer prints fine through ePrint, but when i push "get more" i get  an Apps Updating message, then it cancels. It's the same with Quick Forms, DreamWorks, HP Crafts, and Calendar. Those are the only apps on the printer screen. Then when I go through my Mac desktop, from the HP Connected page, I try to go to the services page and I get a message saying "Safari can't open page because it can't establish a secure connection to the server". I have a Mac, OS X, version 10.9.2 and the printer is an HP Photosmart 7525(brand new).
