problem printing from HP printing Pro to Z5400 Designjet

In October last year I purchased a Z5400 Designjet Postscript ePrinter. The software on both the CD and down loaded from the website called 'HP printing Pro' produces an error on the printer's screen "Wrong file format, cannot print". This happens with .JPG, .PDF and .TIF files (any graphic file).

THe printer will not accurately respond to Photoshop CC commands either. Attempting to compose a set of 5"x7" photos across the top of a 36" wide roll of paper results in the images being printed down one side of the paper with massive wastage. THe problem seems to be that the printer will not allow a page size to be created that is shorter than the width of the paper.

I've been in touch with HP about this and got offered a refund even though I sent evidence my Bank own to printer, not me.Replies like "This is an offer from HP to you, not the finance co" suggests HP are trying to get me to commit Larceny as a Bailee... A Criminal offense.

I didn't buy this printer to get a refund, I bought it to earn a living with. Twice now I've tried to access the "Next day guaranteed support" part of the Customer care pack I paid $1200 extra for and not received any response.

I'm able to print from this printer but not by using either HP's own software or from Photoshop CC. Any help here as to who I contact for the "Next day" service I bought or the highest level of management I can access to lodge complaints with about the terrible service I've been getting would be apreciated. I have a broadcast quality Video of the mess that happens when trying to use this printer but I hesitate to post it publicly until someone at HP has actually been and looked at the problem. It is either the printer or HP software causing it.

Thanks,

Ryadia.
