I successfully used IFTTT + HP Connect to ePrint a few test pages to my HP OfficeJet 8500 a few times a week. Been working. literally, for years. About 6 months ago, the IFTTT ePrint jobs stopped working. I can still "manualy" ePrint to the printer, so I'm pretty sure everything is OK on the printer's end. My debugging steps make me think the problem is between IFTTT and the ePrint server. IFTTT shows my print job as successfully, but nothing is actually printed. I tried removing and re-adding the printer to HP Connect, removing and re-adding the IFTTT applets and removing and re-adding the HP Connect IFTTT service. I've tried several different flavors of ePrint jobs - printing docs, printing web pages - No luck!
Got me thinking...maybe HP doesn't support IFTTT any more? *Should* this be working? One more Q: when connecting the HP Connect IFTTT service to HP, the only authentication option is, I think, is Google auth. I'm able to authenticate and add the HP Connect service to my IFTTT account, but I'm not using Google auth for IFTTT *nor* HP Connect. Do the logins have to "line up"/do I have to create an HP and IFTTT account using a Google account and connect the Google-fied IFTTT account to the Google-fied HP account?
