HP Connected - Cannot confirm additional authorised address

I have just set up all eprint services for my new AIO printer HP 8600 Pro Plus. All works well, but I need to add an additional authorised address. I followed the following process but I an not getting the confirmation email. I have tried resending and checked all spam files. I have also tried different browsers. Please help.

Authorized email addresses are your personal email addresses. You can preview, reprint, download, and share files sent from any authorized email address.
Sign in to your HP Connected account at HP Connected .
Click Settings , click Printing , and then click Authorize Email Addresses . The Manage Your Email Addresses window opens.
Type the email address in the Sender's email address box, and then click Add .
Click Close , and then click Close again.
Sign in to your email account, open the email with the subject 'Action required: HP Connected email address confirmation ,' and then click Authorize email address within the body of the email.

NOTE:If the email is not in your inbox, check the junk or spam folder.
