Was working for a while. Not quite sure how but guess it was a shared USB connection to the 5110 from the iMac.
And so it worked "natively" on the ipad. IE I could print an email directly from the ipad email app. Didn't even use HP eprint!
Now it stopped working and I have no idea why.
Was forced to install HP eprint app and prints from there but customer HATES the fact that they have another email app to use JUST TO PRINT.
The problem with the ipad is you cannot easily control printers. There is not settings option for printers. The defauly email app either "finds a printer" or doesn't. Prining to the printer it find just vanishes into the ether. I have closed down the printer "spooler" which has a long list of printer jobs just "waiting".
