I've actually got two issues. The first is that we just set this printer in place for a client, and it won't utilize the tray selection. Meaning, I tell it I need to print from either the manual tray 1 or ( after adding the second {third} paper tray) the second drawer, and it prints from the normal drawer (tray 2). I can tell it to print this way once, and it will print properly, go back to print a second page, select the exact same settings, printing the exact same page, and it pulls from the wrong tray. It appears to do this at random.
The second issue is the ePrint software. Our client was overjoyed at the ability to scan a document directly to email as a pdf, and at how smoothly it handled it... for 4 days. Then, it stopped. It won't open push the pdf to email anymore, doesn't open a new email message, nothing. The only thing it does is save the pdf, so she has to go back into the scan folder, and manually add the scan.
I have NOT reloaded the software, as it seemed to work fine for a short time, and I am NOT reloading it every time it occurs. I HAVE rebooted the printer several times, including a full power off-rest (pull plug, wait 1 min, press power, wait 30 sec, plug back in and power on). I've tried adding an additional print profile for the bypass tray which forces tray 1. This printed properly twice, third time failed.
Thoughts? Updates? Answers??
