I've been scanning to email for ages and most of the time it works (apart from a few times when it won't connect to the internet) but over the last few days it's stopped working.
The printer is connecting to the internet, lets me select scan to email, select the email account, change scan type to PDF, review information (which email address to and from), continue, then choose the scan to email button and the screen displays 'scanning to email' while the circle goes round then, within seconds, it goes to the heading Scan Failure and the narrative is 'The scan failed. Try again or touch Exit to quit.' If I retry it goes through a couple of the options again and then I get the same thing. If I exit then it takes me to the Settings heading.
I've tried scanning to computer and that works so I know the 'scan' function works, and to make sure also tried copying and printing - both fine.
I've switched off the power to both the printer and router and now I'm completely stuck.
Can someone help please......
