My HP Envy 4500 prints word docs but not web pages

I use a Dell Insperion laptop.  It is WIFId  to my Envy 4500 w via my BT router.  I can print word docs but when I try and print web pages nothing happens.  I have tried to print web pages from a number of different web sites, Hope you can help.
