I have just downloaded the latest eprint in hopes that I could print to a printer connected to my home network. The printer is accessable by all my non idevices using wireless and configuring the printer address with the ip address and port number. I have my 2 printers connected using one of the old HP Jet Direct 3 port servers. As long as I designate the ip address with port number (such as 192.168.1.5
ort2) I have no problem printing to it (or either printer) on the HP Jet Direct over my wireless network except for my idevices (iphone, ipad)
Unfortunatly, I had writtten to HP and mentioned this problem long ago and they said they were going to address it in the next eprint update. However, after just downloading the newest version and trying to enter the ip address with prot number (as I do on my PC's) it states "Invalid printer address.
Is there anyone here on the forum that can help me? Please don't tell me to go buy a wireless printer. I need to get this to work with expert help from someone here on the forum.
