I purchased a 2nd hand printer. I did not have it connected to my computer yet. When I plugged in the power cord it has the paper command light on. I put in paper, and it cycles the paper and this light will not go out. Is there an internal print command stuck in the printer itself? I have already gone into my computer and cleared the print spool and restarted it. I does not keep pulling paper. I have to press the lite butten and it pulls one sheet of paper.
I am running Windows 7 and the printer is an HP Deskjet 3820. I have the compatible printer driver (970cse). I had this same printer and I have been using it just fine. The print head quit moving as it used to. I figured it "died" being how old of a printer it was. I had bought this previous one new several years ago.
Help please?
