B210A Cannot Connect to Webscan

I've been using a B210 Scanner for over a year with a Chromebox via Webscan, with no problem.  All of a sudden today, it can't connect to the server.  I tried removing and reinstalling, but can't find the claim code on the report that prints out - followed HP's steps to get one, but "can't connect to server" to get it.   When I check the update availability, in case that's the problem, it says it can't connect to the server.  Problem isn't between my machine and the router, if you can believe the successful wireless set up report that prints out.  Is this another roadblock HP and Chrome are throwing my way?  May have to head in town to get a cloud machine - as scanning is absolutely essential.
