HP Officejet 6600
Win XP
I have been using this printer wirelessly for some time with no issue. I have recently expanded the wireless printing capabilities so we can print from our iPads and iPhones. We have two wifi spots; one for the printer called HP-Print-CC-OFFICEJET 6600 and the one for the house called NX-01. The issue is when I leave the house and come back, they (our iDevices) default to the printers network, the 'HP' one. I think it does it because it goes alphabetically. Since H comes before N, it always goes to it. The next thing I know is all of our devices are running off of cellular. This is not good, as we forget this happens and it goes unattended for some time.
So, what I want to do is change the SSID of the printer to something that starts after N alphabetically. The thing is, I can't find anywhere to do it! Well, I can, but when I follow it's directions it tells me to hook up the printer to the USB to establish a wireless connection. Hello, I've already done that!
Any help would be appreciated.
