I am trying to set up a capability to print on an HP 8600 pro from an ipad in a location that has no network except the 4GL that comes with the ipad. From what I read online, the "HP wireless direct" feature will create its own network to allow this communication. It appears that the HP 8600 pro does have this features. However, I can't find out much about it. Can any one verify that this should work: a 4gl ipad and no network printing to the 8600 pro.
