The printer prints the alignment page but when I press the scan button, the scan fails each time and the "cancel print" or "cancel alignment" option pops open on the laptop. I have to cancel the alignment (which the printer does not seem to need anyway) in order to print my work. Must every color ink cartridge be new / functional, since I only use the black ink 95 percent of the time?
