Officeject 6700 connected via Wireless (motorola surfboard sb6121wireless router) to macbook pro.
System used to scan to computer. Since I set up eprint, I can print from computer but 3-in-1 will only print. Will not scan, will not copy.
When I try to scan to computer from System Preferences>Scanner, I get the message: Scanner reported an error - Scanner is busy.
If I try to scan to USB, the Officejet says: starting to scan, but then never does. It just continues to say 'starting to scan' I have to turn it of to get it out of that mode. The same thing happens when I try to make a copy.
When I go to the EWS for my printer, under the scan tab, (webscan) I get the message: "You cannot use this function because it has been disabled. For more information, contact your network administrator or the person who set up the printer."
I have re-installed the drivers. Plugged and unplugged everything. Restarted repeatedly. Posts that I have found outside this site where users have posted the same issues - all come to the conclusion that there is no fix, save returning the printer. Please tell me this is not the case!
