I bought a HP 4625e in Dec 2013 and set that up successfully for wi-fi, ePrint and all other features.
Recently I did the following:
1) Removed the paper in the input tray, adjusted the guides and inserted a couple of envelopes
2) Created the envelope header from MS Word 2013 and attempted to print
3) The printer showed an error that the paper size in the input tray did not match what was noted in the SW
4) Clicked OK and the printer again errored; clicked OK again and the printer again errored; clicked cancel and the printer again errored; almost an endless loop
5) I hard powered down the printer, reset the guides / A4 paper sizes, canceled the envelop printing and powered the printer back on
6) Now the wi-fi stopped working
7) I connected to the printer using a USB and setup wi-fi settings again with the following details:
manual static IP: 192.168.1.110
DNS settings: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 (Google Public domain DNS)
8) Validated that the computer and printer were on the same router
9) wi-fi was setup fine and wi-fi printing was ok as well
10) ePrint is still not working; I went to Web Services tab on the printer admin page; printer says it cannot connect to the ePrint server
11) I went to www.hpeprintcenter.com and it redirected me to www.hpconnected.com/in/en (India), which gives me a HTTP 404 error (page not found)
I'm thinking that while I ran into the above problem, HP changed the ePrint servers on us (or me) and my printer now doesn't know which ePrint server to go to (or the one it thinks it should go to probably no longer exists).
Anyone know:
1) What ePrint server the HP 4625e should connect to?
2) How can I change the ePrint server configuration on my printer?
Thanks,
yajurveda
