Recently a client of mine requested that all of his email, contacts, and calenders be synced on his iMac, iPad, and iPhone. Also, he wants to use the ePrint functionality on his HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus printer, so that he can print from all three devices no matter where he is at.
I don't work on Apple products, so they hired another company to come set it up. They are stuck though, and don't seem to know what they are doing. They said that in order to have his emails, contacts, and calander sync... he would have to have a Microsoft Exchange email (which I agree with). However, they said that if he has a Microsoft Exchange account, he cannot use the ePrint function to print from all three devices. They said he would have to have an IMAP email to use ePrint. So, they said he has to choose between all email being synced, or using the ePrint printing.
Is this true? Can he really not use ePrint with an Exchange email? If so, is there any trick or workaround to make it so he has both options? Any help is appreciated...
