Our company got two HP M201DW printers connected to the network wirelessly. We setup Google Cloud Print on it and it was all working fine. But yesterday, one of the printers just stopped working. It won't print anything.
The status on the printer's display shows it's ready and is connected to the network (the IP address is there). On Google Cloud Print, the status of the print jobs to this printer show as "In Progress" and is just stuck there, and the printer won't print anything. However, the second printer is connected to the same network and is also connected to Google Cloud print and it works without any problems.
I have checked the network configurations page generated on the printer, and it's all correct. I also checked on HP Connected website and it says the printer is online and ready to print. It doesn't look like a Google Cloud Print problem because my second prints no problem from Google Cloud Print. And it doesn't look like it could be a problem with the network because it could connect back to HP, and HP Connected website shows it's online.
I also tried to send an email to the HP ePrint email address of the problem printer, to see if it would print that way. The emails are received by HP ePrint servers, and I get a confirmation email back saying the ePrint job was received, and I see it on the print logs on the HP Connected website, but it's stuck at Sending to printer, and eventually it errors out and says "System Error, Try Again". So it seems like it can't find my printer for some reason.
Right now, the workaround is to use a laptop as the middleman and connect the printer to the computer via USB. Then configure Google cloud print to share the USB connected printer via the laptop instead. But this isn't a permanent solution, and so I'm looking to see if anyone has any suggestions to this problem?
Thanks everyone!
