I ran that new "WinCleaner" you buy in the stores. Now I get messages trying to restore "HPPhotosmartEssential", but it cannot be found. Then I tried restoring everything the "WinCleaner" took off. But that file still couldn't be found. After I kept telling it to cancel searching for it 3 to 6 times, it finally stopped with the messages, and I was able to use my computer and even print out a simple MSWord file. I have an HP Photosmart 5520 printer, but I cannot locate the original installation CDs for it. I just don't know how much is wrong with it now. Help please if you can. Thanks, Wendi M. Adams

HP Why sell expired warranty
I purchase a 2 years Care Pack on March 30, 2015 for $35 plus taxes is $39.55 Cdn . On registering the product, the warranty expires 2013. 2 Years before the purchase of the plan very good sale.

ePrint does not work with Google Apps for Business (hosted email)
I have looked up numerous posts, from back into 2011 even, and HP still has not resolved this.
HP's ePrint does not work with companies using Google Apps for Business (hosted email).
Our emails come from our domain, but from the servers/DNS of Google, so we wind up getting
the "550 5.7.1 Command Rehected" error.
This is a major issue as more and more companies (especially small business owners) are moving away
from having in-house/Exchange servers, and they are moving toward hosted systems.
You really need to find a way to stop rejecting emails coming from Google Apps hosted email.
It's been around 4 years now (looking at previous posts). Why hasn't HP found a resolution to this yet?

Connection Issue
I had to restart my computer then when I did, my printer stopped working. I have tried turning it off and on again. I have the wireless printer and it is connected to the wifi and everything is good there. The problem is when I try to use the ePrint. It says there is a connection error. I do not know what to do anymore.

Well, before begining I'd like to specify that I have been using hp printers since 2001 and I have always thought that the printers made by hp are the best that you can find on the market.
Now my complain begins: even if hp is the best manufacturer for printers, in my humble option, its support for a whole platform is almost awful. What i talk about is Windows Phone platform.
I have to admit that hp actually released apps for this OS, but they haven't been supported for over a year and this is unacceptable, these apps are full of bugs and things that don't work as they are supposed to.
What makes this whole story even more riddiculuos is that if you go to hp uk store, the first thing that you can read is "Hp raccomends Windows", when this company doesn't support windows and its mobileOS in first place!
Now that Microsoft has created the universal apps that work both on Windows Phone and Windows, there should be a special effort by Hp to create better apps.
Looking forward to reciving answers.

Problem connecting to the Servre
I've had my printer for a couple years and I've always been able to print wirelessly over my home network just fine. Until recently. Then everything just sort of stopped communicating after I updated to OSX Yosemite 10.10.2. I'm not on the public beta, version 10.10.3 and I'm still not able to get things working.
I've done all the usual tricks: shut down the printer and restart, unplug the printer and restart, reset the wifi router, reset the wireless settings on the printer, reset the printer settings on the computer, etc. etc. I believe there is literally nothing I haven't tried. I cannot get the printer to be recognized by my Macbook Pro. It shows up on the network, but when I try to set it up it just tells me that there was a problem communicating with the printer. So I tried to print something my wife's older Macbook Pro (running the current version of Yosemite (10.10.2) and it worked fine. Well, last week it did, anyway. Today, suddenly that wouldn't work either. I've even downloaded and installed the HP Printer Drivers 3.0 from the Apple website. Nothing.
So I thought I would try go around my computer and emailing a file directly to the printer, which I'd done before so I know that worked. But of course it did not. To complicate things even further, it now appears as though I never even had an account set up with this printer. I don't know how that happened, but there we are. So I searched the HP troubleshooting pages for help on resetting the email print feature and all of that. I did everything on there. But when it comes time to try to set things up on the printer itself (for example when I'm told to scroll through the menus to perform updates), I just keep getting this error:
"Server Connection Error
There was a problem connecting to the Server. Press Retry to connect again, or OK to Exit."
I have verified that the printer is on my home network and that it communicating. So clearly there's either something wrong internally with this printer or there is something wrong with the server on HPs end. The problems with my computer can of course be attributed to possible errors with my computer (though I spent 2 hours on the phone with Apple and they can't seem to find any problems). The new OSX could also be the culprit if HP hasn't updated their software with the newest Apple software. I could understand all of that. But the fact that I can't even set up Wireless services or look for new updates or do anything that seems to need the printer to talk with the internet is where I'm stumped. This tells me the problem has nothing to do with my computer and everything to do with my printer.
That it could just stop working altogether is beyond frustrating. That it could work fine a few weeks ago on my computer, work fine last week on my wife's computer, and then completely not work at all when nothing in those two machines have changed is maddening. I'm a writer for a living and it is essential that I be able to print things reliably. Is there anything that can be done to help me correct this issue immediately?
I'm very close to throwing this thing away and buying something from another manufacturer never to return to HP. My patience has run out with this. Please help.

Envy 4500 AirPrint sometimes works, usually not, found a pattern
AIrPrint works .. sometimes. To reoproduce issue:
printing from Notes in ios returns "No AIrprint printers found"
On the printer's control panel, I go to wireless direct (which is on)
choose display password
press Reset
press "Yes" to confirm I want to reset the password.
After the password resets, I can print. Print a note.
Now, turn wifi OFF on the iPhone, then turn it back on.
Go back into Notes. I am again prompted to select a printer.
This time I again get the message "No AIrprint printers found"
On the printer's control panel, I go to wireless direct (which is on)
choose display password
press Reset
etc
etc
It seems iOS cannot find the printer unless the wireless direct password has just been set. Once selected, as long as the printer is in the "Recent Printers" list, it can be selected. Once it's cleared from this list (like when you change networks and come back), it cannot be selected until the password is reset again.
I can reproduce this error every time.

Web Services won't enable
I use a chromebooks so airprinting is the only way I can print. It was working fine, then one day the airprint stopped working. When I hit the eprint button on the printer, hit setup, yes to accept, it tells me Web services could not be enabled.
I went through a IPv4 config to see if that would fix it but no luck. When you hit the wireless button it says that I am connected. I am connected directly to the main moden in the house. I can also print from other computers in the house through the network. Any Ideas?

Missing X-CloudPrint-Proxy header
I want to add my new HP envy 5530 to my chromebook.
I have managed to install the printer as far as hp eprint.
I have even been able to scan.
When I want to add the printer to google cloud print however, the following happens:
I open the page Google Cloud Print HP printer connection page.
Then I get to the stage where I need to fill in the email address of the printer.
When That page gets loaded I can see for a minute the box where I need to fill in the email, but then that box gets filled with the following message:
Missing X-CloudPrint-Proxy header
Can anybody help me. I can not find any support on this message.
